As a professional artist who values art practice and research in my everyday
life, I am committed to the lifelong impact of the studio critique.
I believe that the studio critique should be a friendly part of art practice
at all phases as it keeps art alive by boosting creative energy and stimulating
one's critical mind.
I argue that the studio critique encourages artists to envision
and understand
their art and their world and to appreciate rich artistic meaning making
in a variety of contexts.
Understanding the perspetives of others can motivate
artists to be more responsible, passionate, creative, and critical of
their art.
I would like to see your feedback about my art.
Your
offline and online identities will be absolutely confidential in the study.
In fact, you do not need to provide me your real life identification as
it is not a factor.
The
study does not take into account who are you, but what you have to say.
I
have the two sites where you can complete your critique:
1)
www.sangbinim.com
(click)
2) virtual
exhibition in Second Life (click)
After
taking a look at either or both of these sites,
if you choose to say anything about my art, whether brief or in detail,
or possitive or negative,
PLEASE SEND YOUR CRITIQUE to sangbinim@hotmail.com
(click) or through IM
or chat in Second Life.
Let's get the online critique rolling!
