I believe that the studio critique should be a friendly part of art practice at all phases as it keeps art alive by boosting creative energy and stimulating one's critical mind.
I argue that the studio critique encourages artists to envision and understand their art and their world and to appreciate rich artistic meaning making in a variety of contexts.
Understanding the perspetives of others can motivate artists to be more responsible, passionate, creative, and critical of their art.
